This Privacy Policy explains what information the AY Futures app ("AY Futures", "we", "us") collects, how we use it, and your choices. AY Futures is a free entertainment app that uses simulated currency only. We do not process real-money payments, deposits, or withdrawals.
Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address, a username, and a password (stored securely by our authentication provider). You may optionally add a profile photo.
Content you create. We store the predictions ("bets") you make, the groups you create or join, and your in-app simulated balance and history. This is required for the app to function.
Usage and device information. We collect basic app-usage and event data (for example, screens viewed and actions taken) to understand how the app is used and to improve it. If you enable notifications, we collect a device push token so we can send you alerts.
We do not collect real payment card information, bank details, or real-money balances, because AY Futures does not involve real money.
We use the information above to: create and secure your account; operate core features (predictions, groups, leaderboards, head-to-head records); send you notifications you've enabled; understand usage and improve the app; and detect abuse or violations of our terms.
AY Futures is built on Google Firebase. Your data is stored and processed using Firebase services (Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Storage, Cloud Messaging, and Analytics) on Google's infrastructure. Google processes this data on our behalf under its own terms. See Google's privacy information at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us (below), after which we will delete it within a reasonable period, except where we must retain limited records to comply with law or resolve disputes.
You can update your profile in the app, turn notifications off in your device settings, and request access to or deletion of your data by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as PIPEDA (Canada) or the GDPR/CCPA.
AY Futures is intended for users 18 and older and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
